Who answers for the data

acneoncheeks.com is an independent site and chooses what it measures, so it is responsible for that data. Questions go to privacy@acneoncheeks.com.

What a visit leaves behind

How visits are counted

Your browser sends statistics to this site's own address, /api/glint. From there they go to an analytics provider (EU) that keeps them on servers in the European Union. Your IP address goes along so a rough place, such as country, can be worked out. A random visit code in session storage links the pages of one visit and vanishes when the tab closes, so two visits cannot be tied together. No cookies are used for statistics. If you are in the EU, nothing is counted until you press "Count it".

The acne.today buttons

Buttons such as "Start my cheek check" pass through acneoncheeks.com/cheek-map and then open acne.today, a separate paid service. The link tells acne.today which site and which button sent you. Whatever you share there falls under acne.today's own privacy policy.

Who gets it

Only the analytics provider and the host, each with no more than its job needs. Nothing is sold.
